My Quit:
Hi Q-sters,

I am a thirty year-old female, living in Jersey with 2 wonderful cats. I`ve been smoking since age 15, gradually going up to almost 2 packs a day.

Several months ago I went to the dental hygenist, who told me the cells in my mouth were beginning to change. She said although they weren`t cancerous YET, they would become so if I keep smoking.

So...right there and then I set my mother`s birthday as my quit date (she still thinks it`s the nicest gift anyone could have given her!). So far I`ve been quit for 75 days and counting.

Advice:
I've found the daily pledge and any other non-smoking slogans very helpful.
