My Quit:
I am closing in on my mid 40s and the mother to two young children. I started smoking when I was in jr. high school - first hiding it from my parents and then evenutally from my children. As a former closet smoker, Quitnet gave me a place to turn to -- to receive the much needed encouragement from other ex-smokers.

Advice:
"Keep Passing the Open Windows" as they say repeatedly in the movie "Hotel New Hampshire"

photoGum helps. Taking big deep breaths helps, too. That and thinking about the heartache and pain that come at the end of a life of smoking; the instant gratification is not worth the future hurt.
