My Quit:
I have not had a cigarette for 9 days now. This is my second serious attempt to quit. I was successful for 1 and a half years on my previous attempt; however, in a moment of weakness, I thought I could become a casual smoker. You know, one of those people who can smoke a cigarette when they are out with friends and never consider finishing the pack. How wrong I was. Now I am quitting again after 6 years of NOT so "casual" smoking. Thank you QuitNet for all the support you provide.

Advice:
Find a sound reason for "YOU" to quit. Use that reason to remind yourself that you do not NEED a cigarette.

photoSMOKING CIGARETTES WILL KILL YOU! I lost a brother to smoking. Quit now, not tomorrow, not on your birthday, not next New Year's Day.... NOW! Otherwise, you will die.
