I was a smoker for 17 years. I was able to quit during two pregnancys but I started again immediately after giving birth. I finally was able to quit this year. With the help of the QuitNet I have not smoked in 7 months. I feel great. It is wonderful to not be a slave to cigarettes. I no longer have to plan my day around my smoking schedule. I can enjoy my day rather than constantly thinking about when and where I will have my next cigarette!

My best advice is chew nicotine gum, read all of the Quit Tip emails that you get (they are extremely helpful). Stay away from areas where people smoke.
