I started smoking when I was going out clubbing with friends every weekend, friends who already smoked. I was a 'social smoker' to begin with, but it wasn't long before the nicodemon took hold and I was on to 20 a day.

If weight gain is a problem after quitting, take up some light exercise. It will take your mind off the cravings and it's healthy, too.
