My Quit:
I am a 52 year old Grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter (Allie). I smoked for 34 years.
I wanted to be around for her as well as any other grandbabies that may come my way. SO- I gave up the nasty, nasty habit for good on 1-24-2007 with the help of the miracle drug (Just my opinion) Chantix.

Dr. gave me the prescription for 3 months. Stopped after 3 weeks, continued to take the last week of meds. but did not get it refilled.

Advice:
Make up your mind - and stick with it. Do it for you, not because someone else wants you to. Good Luck

photoBe positive about your quit. It doesn't have to be a bad experience. Finding humor in it helps in a huge way. Accept the withdrawal, don't fight it.
