My Quit:
I started smoking at age 13 & finally quit days before turning 60. I had tried to quit many times with all types of quit aids never making it to 24 hours without smoking. I am now quit for 22 months, I love my freedom.

I came to the QuitNet with an attitude of what good is this going to do until I began reading profiles. I could have been the author to many of them & thought these people have quit & are here to support my quit, I can relate to them. I read all about nicotine addiction, I admitted to being an addict & set a plan for my quit.

Advice:
Read all that you can about addiction, know what you are dealing with, knowledge is power. Reach out & ask for support there is so much of it here.

photoEducate yourself. Read profiles. Pledge not to smoke daily. By supporting others, you support yourself. Get involved with the Q. Fake it until you make it.
