My Quit:
I tried several times to stop along with my husband. We slipped and slid for almost 2 years, but on July 4, 2010, I woke up and didn't seem to need to light up so I tried to see how long I could go. I made it thru that day, and started using some of the Chantix I had left from a failed prior attempt. This time it worked, and here, 3+ years later, I'm still smoke free! I don't have the awful cravings so I'm lucky.

Advice:
It's a state of mind, too. Celebrate the freedom you'll feel, not HAVING to smoke. That works for me.

photoFind a sound reason for "YOU" to quit. Use that reason to remind yourself that you do not NEED a cigarette.
