My Quit:
I started smoking at 13 ... to be cool like my big sister. She had the good sense to quit in her early 20s but I kept right on going till I was 53. The combination of the patch, having my head in the right place plus the invaluable support here on the Q were the tools I needed to break my addiction once and for all. What a sense of accomplishment! And, I've never been healthier.

Advice:
Don't worry about "forever", just put one foot in front of the other and focus on getting through today. If I can do this, ANYONE can - yes, really!
