My Quit:
I smoked cigarettes 2 pks/day for many yrs. Today I have successfully finished the 10 week, NicodermCQ patches 3/step program. I had tried the program at least twice previously but never got thru step 2. I was so very discouraged!!! I felt like such a failure. Then on my 65th birthday in July, I started program yet again.

It definitely hasnt been easy but I DID IT!!!! Now the days ahead without patches will tell the tale. I already feel like a non-smoker though so I am very encouraged. I want to thank quitnet for supplying the patches & the online encouragement every day!!!

Advice:
To help with cravings I recited out loud Philippians 4:6,7...followed with I DO NOT WANT A CIGARETTE in Jesus Name. Thankfully the cravings always passed.

photoSurround yourself in your quit. Go everywhere you can't smoke. Read stuff here at the Q 'til you think you'll go blind. Know that every crave you beat is a badge of honor.
