My Quit:
After a pack a day for 19 years, I quit cold turkey New Year's 2013. I'd been quit about 7 months when I started feeling STRONGLY like I wanted to smoke again. It was only a matter of time. Luckily, I had stumbled upon QuitNet early in my quit, so I knew where to go for help. And with some new found knowledge about addiction and an outpouring of support, from real people that actually share my same struggle, I've been able to keep my quit! This is my forever quit!

Advice:
Decide to do it, don't "try" to quit. Make a plan. Educate yourself. We're all here to help! You can do this!

photoUse the 5 D's, Deep Breaths, Drinks of Water, Delay, Distract and Discuss. Don't have that first puff and you never have to go through "hell week" again.
