I had picked up the nasty habit in college and progressed from a runner to a walker who got winded walking up 6 flights of stairs at work.
I quit cold turkey, and feel tremendously better. I can take deep breaths of fresh air, smell great, have a lot more energy, and can sing to all of my favorite songs again.
