My Quit:
I had picked up the nasty habit in college and progressed from a runner to a walker who got winded walking up 6 flights of stairs at work.

I quit cold turkey, and feel tremendously better. I can take deep breaths of fresh air, smell great, have a lot more energy, and can sing to all of my favorite songs again.

QuitNet has helped me more than I could ever describe in words.

Advice:
Take your quit one day at a time. It is the only way to experience life, and it is the only way to quit. Love yourself.

photoKnow you can do this. I posted affirmations all over my house and still have two up: "I love my lungs" and "I love me more than smoking." Love yourself.
