My Quit:
I have been a smoker for 33yrs. My quit date was 3-31-14 (CT). This is my second quit in a year. Here is the difference this time; I am commited to this and am now a non-smoker. Non-smokers DON'T smoke! NOT EVER! I think the most helpful thing about Quitnet is EVERYONE has/is/or will be going thru the same thing. There is information on any subject you have a question on, and if you don't have support in your life..you will find it HERE!

I heard this from a fellow quitster (ACE) and it really is quite simple..ummmm "Don't Smoke"

Frequently Asked Question
Q: Why should I quit? answer
A Qmember who has been smoke-free for 100 days or longer. Elders sit in the Front Row of the Elder Lodge and wear Silly Hats, before or after which they design and fly a kite! Finally, the Elder is required to post a Ramble in the forums, and go on and on about the many and amazing experiences of their Quit!

photoYou Can Quit. It only takes two things to quit, determination and a positive attitude. You don't have to quit for a lifetime, quit for the day, or maybe for 5 minutes at a time, JUST DO IT!!!
