Who are your Experts?

Nathan Cobb, MD, is the Co-Founder & Senior Science Advisor of the Quitnet; he's also the creator of QuitNet, and developed QuitNet based on his clinical training and experience as a smoking cessation counselor in a Boston clinic. Dr. Cobb received his MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 2001 and his BA from Georgetown. Alan Peters, TTS, Q Counselor, has over 12 years experience in addiction counseling, and has spent the last five years dealing exclusively with helping smokers quit. An ex-smoker himself (3 packs per day, with 11 years smoke-free), he's helped thousands of people navigate through the tricky waters of nicotine recovery. Liane Quirk, MPH, TTS, has been working in tobacco treatment for several years; her education focus on Public Health and Women's issues makes her invaluable to the QuitNet team.
