Frequently Asked Questions

How come my Q-Mail light doesn't automatically turn on when I have new mail?

This is a two part answer. On the main QuitNet pages, every time you click to a new page or manually refresh the page you are currently on, your Q-Mail is automatically checked for new messages. If you are sent a new Q-Mail message in the time between clicks or refreshes, the Q-Mail Envelope in the upper-right portion of every page will turn yellow. If you click on the Envelope, you will be taken to Q-Mail to read your new message(s). The second part to this answer involves the Gadget. If you keep your Gadget open, it will automatically refresh every 30 seconds to see if any of your buddies are online or if you have any new Q-Mail messages.
