Quitting smoking could be the single most important health decision you ever make! In 2010, the U.S. Surgeon General reported there is no safe level of exposure to cigarette smoke. It contains more than 7,000 chemicals. Hundreds of them are dangerous, and at least 69 are cancer-causing.

In the U.S., one in every five deaths is caused by smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke. That's more than 440,000 deaths each year - or 1,200 every day!
